We love singng in a new venue and St. Helen's at Alveston was a pure delight.
Admittedly, the glorious sunshine - possible the only sunlight we recieved in February - was so blinding through the church's glass windows that we struggled to see Assistant Muscial Director, Caroline Bamford for a few minutes but it was worth to arrive hoodie and jeans - rather than the highly necessary padded winter coats of the past few months.
Singing for approximately an hour - our audience were highly appreciative enjoying in particular our renditions of Worse Things, The Road Home and Take it to The Limit. To be honest - we all enjoyed ourselves.In-house quartet 'SPECS APPEAL' also took to the floor with 2 super songs taht thye are preparing for their Ladies of Association of Barbershop Singers Quartet competition this coming June.
The afternoon concluded with the obligatory tea and cake, chatter with the audience and a drive back to Bristol in the fading light.

Last Saturday saw the chorus gather for a Performance
Workshop on our latest song- And You Don't Even
Know It - from the hit musical 'There's Something
About Jamie'.
Led by our Performance Director, Debbie Trotman,
the chorus brought some sass and sparkle to this
inspiring song about being true to yourself and
celebrating your identity.
Over the two hours the chorus explored a range of set
'moves' as well as opportunities to 'freestyle' on
common themes: who they were singing to, the message
and the mood. Look out for video of the final
performance in the future!
