We sing in four part harmony, A Cappella (no accompaniment). Our constantly evolving repertoire boasts a variety of musical styles from traditional barbershop to current pop music arrangements.
We compete in festivals including Bristol Music Festival, Cheltenham and the Mid-Somerset Festival held in Bath. We have travelled to other counties as guest performers singing in everything from a beautiful Abbey to a spectacular Cavern. We even spent one snowy December singing at the opening of a new show home and proved just how many people fitted in the lounge! Including Santa!
The Chorus is available for booking, performing in and around the South West.

LABBS - the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers - is one of three barbershop-singing organisations in the United Kingdom, and the only purely British organisation for female barbershop singers. Established in 1976, LABBS has grown to around 60 clubs and over 2200 members. In addition to our many clubs, we also have a national chorus, Coast to Coast, and our youth choruses, which bring singers together from across the organisation.
At the end of October we compete at the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers National Convention. This year is LABBS 50th birthday and we will be delighted to celebrate with them in Harrogate.
