We love singng in a new venue and St. Helen's at Alveston was a pure delight.

Admittedly, the glorious sunshine - possibly the only sunlight we saw in February - was so blinding through the church's glass windows that we struggled to see Assistant Muscial Director, Caroline Bamford for a few minutes.  But it was worth the glare to be able to arrive in hoodie and jeans - rather than the highly necessary padded winter coats of the past few months.

Singing for approximately an hour - our audience were highly appreciative, enjoying in particular our renditions of Worse Things, The Road Home and Take it to The Limit. To be honest - we all enjoyed ourselves.

In-house quartet 'SPECS APPEAL' also took to the floor with 2 super songs that they are preparing for their Ladies of Association of Barbershop Singers Quartet competition this coming June.

The afternoon concluded with the obligatory tea and cake, chatter with the audience and a pleasant drive back to Bristol as the sun went down.
