Bristol
Fashion is a Ladies Barbershop Chorus - we all love singing! We
rehearse every Thursday
evening in South Bristol, when we work hard at improving our craft and performances under the leadership of our talented
Musical Director Craig Kehoe.
Fun and friendship is a keynote of our chorus, especially on
our occasional ‘Glam Nights’ and other social events.
We also have our own in-house quartet
'In Fashion', who have been
singing together since Spring 2008.
We are members of the Ladies’ Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS) which organises the annual Convention where choruses from all over the country meet and compete. Through membership of LABBS we are part of a huge ‘sisterhood’ of Barbershop Singers numbering nearly 2000.
If you'd like to know more, please contact us and send us your details. We'd love to hear from you!
Supporting Charities
Each year our Chairlady chooses a charity to support. Over the past five years we have raised over £3000 and made donations to Children's Hospice SouthWest (The Babe Appeal), Avon Riding for the Disabled, 'Cots for Tots' at the Bristol Children's Hospital and 'Music Space' (towards new instruments). We also raised over £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support during Barbershop Awareness Week from 12 - 20 September 2009. This year Mary has chosen the British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society as her charity.

A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.
