The chorus at Llangollen Eisteddfod

Bristol Fashion Ladies Barbershop Chorus was formed in 1977.  We are ladies from all walks of life with one common interest: making music and having fun. Our aim is to promote friendship through harmony.

We rehearse every Thursday in the United Reformed Church Hall, West Street, Bedminster, from 7.30 – 10.00 pm.  (Click here for Map). We are always looking for new members, so if you would like to meet and become friends with a group of like-minded ladies who love to sing and laugh, then come along and join in!!  The chorus currently has around 40 singing members and the age range spans some 70 years.

We are members of the Ladies’ Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS) and meet up each year to enter the annual convention, where we take part in competitions.  We are proud that we have been in the final for many years. We are committed to entertaining as broad a cross section of the community as possible and take great pleasure in singing for the handicapped and the elderly as well as a variety of audiences.
